Yaesu FT-4XR

The Yaesu FT-4XR is a compact and powerful dual-band handheld transceiver designed for VHF/UHF operation with up to 5 watts of reliable RF output. Despite its small size, it features a 1.4-inch front speaker delivering 1 watt of crisp, clear audio. Equipped with a 1,750 mAh Li-ion battery pack, the FT-4XR offers over 15 hours of operating time and includes a 3.5-hour rapid charger.

This versatile radio includes 200 memory channels, a built-in FM broadcast receiver, CTCSS/DCS operation, and advanced scanning capabilities such as memory scan, dual receive, and programmable memory scan. The split memory function allows separate frequencies for RX and TX in one memory channel. It also features weather alert channels, VOX capability with an optional headset, and cloning functionality for easy configuration sharing.

Built for ease of use, the FT-4XR includes two user-programmable keys, selectable frequency steps, and automatic features like power-off and range transponder system (ARTS).
