The Yaesu FT5DR is a compact, dual-band digital transceiver offering 5W RF power output with C4FM and analog modes. Its robust IPX7 waterproof and shock-resistant design makes it ideal for rugged environments. The radio supports real dual-band operation (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V) with two independent receivers and features a high-resolution color display, customizable frequency colors, and intuitive touch-and-key operation for seamless functionality.

This advanced handheld radio includes innovative features like the TOUCH & GO operation for quick frequency recall, a real-time band scope for monitoring up to 79 channels, and support for the WiRES-X Portable Digital Node Function.
