The Alpha Antenna 6-80M Portable HF EmComm Antenna is a powerful and efficient solution for DX and NVIS communication. Designed as an off-center fed (OCF) standing L dipole, this system offers pre-tuned, touch-free operations across all bands from 6m to 80m. This system includes the rugged seven-section MilStick whip (9' 4"), an AutoMatch for proper tuning, a grounded counterpoise wire with a ground stake, an NVIS element wire, and a telescopic heavy-duty aluminum tripod for stability in various environments. Rated for 250 watts PEP SSB, 125 watts CW, or 25 watts for digital modes, it delivers reliable performance even in challenging conditions. Its IP-53 rating ensures protection against dust and water sprays, while its ability to withstand winds up to 50 mph and temperatures from -15 to 130°F makes it suitable for harsh environments.
