Icom IC-705

The Icom IC-705 is a versatile, compact, and portable all-mode transceiver covering HF, 50, 144, and 430 MHz bands, making it an excellent choice for field operations. Supporting modes such as D-STAR DV, SSB, CW, AM, and FM, it also features continuous reception from the medium wave broadcast band to 144 MHz, including FM broadcast and airband. Built on the RF direct sampling system pioneered in Icom's flagship models like the IC-7300, it ensures minimal distortion and delivers a high-speed, high-resolution real-time spectrum scope and waterfall display.

Designed for portability without compromising performance, the IC-705 provides up to 10W output with an external power supply and 5W with the included BP-272 Li-ion battery pack. Additional features include a built-in GPS antenna for logging and location-based functionalities, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for smartphone integration and remote control, and a microSD card slot for firmware updates, data storage, and voice recording.
