The MFJ-9340W QRP Cub Transceiver is a compact, high-performance CW transceiver tailored for 40-meter band enthusiasts. Its surface-mount technology allows for a pocket-sized design without sacrificing functionality. With 0.2 µV sensitivity, the receiver excels at pulling in weak signals while maintaining low noise levels. A crystal filter and shaped audio ensure a sharp passband and effective interference rejection.

This transceiver provides adjustable RF output, delivering up to 2 watts on bands up to 20 meters and 1 watt on 17 and 15 meters. It supports full break-in (QSK) operation for seamless switching, features a pure sine-wave sidetone for natural monitoring, and includes shaped keying for click-free transmissions. The differential-mode AGC maintains consistent audio output over a wide signal range, and its robust AF output supports headphones or an external speaker.
